new(ish) to the forum and looking for kaki's to join/start a group running weekday mornings (6am+) or evenings (7pm+) or weekend any time around the sungei pandan connector, old holland road, clementi road, NUS area...

My personal target is to get my half marathon time down under 100 minutes, so 4.20 min/km would be a fast pace shorter run, 5.00 min/km would be for long, slow runs... if this is you, I'd love some company 3-4 times a week from now until at least Aviva 1/2 IM in March 2010...

no stress if you target times don't match up with mine, maybe your slow run is my fast run, still can meet up for 1-2 sessions a week smile.gif

feel free to PM or post in this thread smile.gif

http://www.nparks.gov.sg/cms/index.php?opt...7&Itemid=74

I see my name for the park is a bit off - should be ulu pandan connector *sigh*

One end starts near buona vista MRT and it runs along the canal to Clementi rd, then continues along the canal to the AYE, cross over the train track and continues beside Jurong East through to Bukit Batok nature park/edge of Bukit Timah nature reserve....

but there are also good hills around NUS, Clementi road, Old Holland Road etc...

c'mon 20 over views and nobody runs in this area? blush.gif

I run through that place sometimes, but I begin at my home in Bukit Timah. It used to be one of my favourite places to run when I was in JC.

Just for info, there's a regular run called iRun organised by the Health Promotion Board, it starts at 6pm from the International Business Park. The route takes runners up to Clementi Road, along the park connector & back, covering 7.5km.
