Hi all,
Consolidating some data for a friend doing race organisation decision. Would appreciate if you could provide some explaination as well. We will use the Run leg of the Singapore Biathlon as a basis of discussion. Appreciate your feedbacks, cheers. -------------------- |

Voted for "5km and back"
1. Nearer to my stuff at the end of the run, so easier to go home 2. Easier to pace. 3. Not too boring |

voted 5km out and back, simply because its not too many rounds (that would make it repetitive) and its not just 1 round so at least we know what to expect on the way back, and its easier to time our pace with 2 rounds

Reason being, I can easily access roughly how many ppl ahead of me or behind that gives me a motivation. Spectators also are able to follow who is finishing and stuff easily if only one loop, compared to several loops. |

Voted for 5k out and back. reason no need to count how many rounds i have run. can be distracting and discouraging. if 4 rounds, most prob will not even join the race cos i know i wont do well unless the swim and bike are incredibly smooth.
